Merchandise & Licensing
Properly branded merchandise and apparel can help strengthen our audiences' connection with UNI. Follow brand guidelines and licensing procedures when planning and designing promotional products.
Apparel & Promotional Items
For apparel and merchandise, university departments and units can pair either the primary university logo or primary athletics logo with their name. The recommended font is Proxima Nova, and separation should be present between the logo and text. Orders must be placed with a licensed vendor, as noted in the section below.
If you would like to order an item with artwork limitations that do not allow for the above guidelines, please contact email@example.com to discuss a solution.
For all other communications, materials and collateral, the primary university logo or appropriate lockup logo should be utilized to identify university departments and units.
For assistance with artwork set up, please complete a Creative Services Request.
Licensing & Vendor Information
All apparel and merchandise that includes a university logo, trademarked phrase and/or other element associated with the University of Northern Iowa visual identity must include the appropriate registration mark. That may be a ® or ™ symbol, depending on the legal registration status of the trademark displayed.
Suppliers who manufacture and/or sell items with elements of UNI's visual identity must be licensed by the university. Merchandise and apparel must be purchased through an approved, currently licensed vendor.
For a full list of approved vendors, utilize the search tool below and choose Northern Iowa from the second drop down option. Searches can be further refined by category if you so choose.
If you are unable to find product offerings from licensees that fulfill your needs, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
